A Fit & Healthy Lifestyle Is A Gift


There is nothing more powerful then living a fit and healthy lifestyle. The paybacks run much deeper than the visual progress you make. A fitness lifestyle can improve anxiety mood, and energy. It can deliver routine for the purposeless, shape your self-esteem and offer a sense of triumph. Yes, of course you’ll experience improvement in weight management, tone and increase muscle, and drive your daily performance.


But I bet you don’t know there are other advantages of living a fit and healthy lifestyle.


1. Getting the gift of you.
As you dedicate yourself to your fitness plan, you’ll begin seeing your body make positive changes. Your brain will acknowledge that your hardwork and energy are linking themselves to a positive result. Consistent application of this begins to manipulate the plasticity of your brain, subtly bolstering neural and psychological drivers that impact your everyday life. You’ll soon realize that you have control over how your body looks and performs. You’ll realize your body no longer owns you, but it’s your miracle tool to be the person you desire.


Control is a sensation that is no longer desired, but seamlessly in fluid agreement with your mind. If you can lift weights, run miles, and choose fruit over bagels, then you can do anything. Fitness gives the physical, mental, and emotional strength needed to tackle life. It gives you self-control.


2. Everyday Success
Studies have shown that happiness for most individuals is derived from feeling successful in life. Whether it is climbing the corporate ladder, raising beautiful children, or having a medal placed around your neck after a long race – we want to feel like our efforts and work matter. Better yet we want to feel like we matter.


Fitness offers an opportunity to feel fruitful every day. Going to a spin cycling class, meditating, or eating fresh is always a positive decision. Foregoing the gym to run outside, play a sport, take a hike, or just playing with your kids is equally as beneficial. Your body will obviously benefit from the activity, but your psyche will prosper from the sensation of success.


3. Improved Sleep and a (likely) Longer Life

Following a health plan will regulate your body’s energy systems and positively impact your sleep cycle. Sleep is when the body’s biology repairs itself, so it is crucial to understand the harder you train and more recovery time you’ll need.


The additional caloric burn during your active lifestyle, paired with your bodies need to recover, will lead to you seeking your bed at an earlier hour. Getting to bed sooner will also serve to help you spend more time in REM (rapid eye movement), the period of sleep which the body is fully resting.


This boost in quality sleep does more than just make you feel better the next day giving you clarity and focus but enhances your metabolism and optimizes your bodies vital systems and organs. The increased sleep quality can help prevent everything from depression to a stroke. It can also help you maintain a healthy body weight, which means lower body fat, increased muscle mass, and a more normalized digestion and eating schedule.


4. Improved Relationships

Romantic relationships benefit from both partners engaging in healthy activities that improve themselves, the family, and ensure the health and wellness of everyone. A lifestyle shaped by fit and healthy focus accomplishes all the things above, especially when shared amongst partners.


It is more than reshaping your body to attract your mate, although there is no harm in making yourself desirable to the one you love. The greatest benefit is the mutual understanding that both of you are trying to improve to benefit yourselves and your partner.


Taking a long walk through the park together, turning a healthy meal into a creative romantic experience, or setting up next to each other on an exercise mat is a declaration that you are in it together. You both are committed to being the best versions of yourself to equally strengthen your body and your relationship.


Are you single? No worries, as studies have shown that regular exercise and a healthy diet not only boosts the fitness of your body, but also your confidence. You’ll evolve a different aura that attracts people towards you, and helps you keep them interested.


5. Increased Physical Resiliency

Aches and pains are not a compulsory function of getting older. You won’t feel the same as you felt at twenty-five but suffering from a number larger than four in front of your age is not my idea of an abundant happy life.


Staying active, utilizing regular exercise, and cultivating a practical diet, moderating impulsive unhealthy cravings can improve the resiliency of all tissues in the body. Muscles, tendons, nerves, and even bones benefit from regular strength training exercise. The heart, lungs, brain, and metabolism benefit tremendously from cardiovascular programs.


  • Lifting weights can help prevent osteoporosis and osteopenia, as well as strengthen the muscles and tendons to resist against injuries that could occur in everyday life.

  • Training frequently can increase neuromuscular coordination, which is important for balance and movement skill, two components that are critical in preventing falls and injury.

  • Cardiovascular training can help prevent heart disease, obesity, high blood pressure, and other conditions that lead to medication and decreased quality of life.

  • The changes your body will make because of a fit and healthy lifestyle will better prepare your body for life itself.
